Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - September/October 2022 (Issue 65)

Our centrepieces were all made from faux flowers to match the theme, along with floating candles. The cake was white with champagne gold leaf embellishment, flowers to complement the main arrangements and our initials. Myself and my family are big on music and wanted to reflect that on the big day, with no lulls. So, we had a variety of entertainment planned throughout the day. Family friend, Ryan Noon, played piano throughout; Backchat Brass Band played after the ceremony and during the drinks reception; and Six 15 played during the evening – a DJ, saxophonist and drummer. We spent the whole day grinning from ear to ear like Cheshire cats! We had the most perfect day and loved every single second of it. It was lovely to watch people enjoy the day we’d been planning for so long. The place names were gold mirrored luggage tags. The venue provided beautiful hanging wisteria. We also had a memory and favour table, and light-up letters. We created the table plan on a large ornate mirror, which is now being used as a decorative keepsake in our bar at home. The tables were all named after streets in York. 37 REAL WEDDINGS
