Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - July/August 2022 (Issue 64)

I wore Torrance by Martin Thornburg. I saw a picture of it on Instagram and instantly fell in love with it. I found it at Bethany Hannah Bridal and tried it on along with some others to make sure I wasn’t rushing in, but nothing else compared. I chose a short veil so that it wouldn’t hide the dress’ beautiful train. Josh wore a black tuxedo as did his best men and usher. The moment I saw Josh at the end of the aisle, the excitement kicked in and the rest of the day was filled with so much laughter and happiness. “I felt quite strange in the morning! I just couldn’t believe the day was finally here and I was actually going to be a bride.” Josh got rather emotional when he saw me walking down the aisle towards him. During the ceremony Josh put my wedding ring on the wrong finger and I had to correct him! Then, when asked if anyone had any objections, our niece, aged one, decided this was the perfect moment to shout out, filling the room with laughter! My bridesmaids were dressed in pink, one-shoulder dresses with diamanté belts. 40
