Your Cheshire & Merseyside Wedding - Jan/Feb 2018 (Issue 43)
We had our table plan designed on a rustic-style mirror. The place names tied in with the look with a champagne-coloured bow and a jewel. The groomsmen wore navy fitted suits, while Aaron donned a tweed waistcoat to stand out. My eight best girls looked stunning in Jenny Packham bridesmaid dresses with short lace sleeves and jewel embellishment. We had a silhouette artist during the drinks reception and meal. He cut our guests’ profiles out of card; everyone loved having a memento to take home. We also had a sweet cart and garden games to entertain our loved ones. We included our two sons, Alexander and George, throughout the whole day. They walked down the aisle first and Alexander brought Aaron the rings – he also said a joke after the speeches! Our friends and family were blown away by all the music, from the pianist during the ceremony to the live five-piece band in the evening. REAL WEDDINGS 51
