We researched venues online and instantly fell for Colshaw Hall. We went along to the open day and it was perfect for us, we knew we didn’t need to look anywhere else. Our incredible five-tier cake matched our palette and had our initials on it in gold lettering. The lace detail went with my gown and the flowers reflected my bouquet. The colour scheme ran through the beautiful centrepieces. We had glass vases brimming with gypsophila and roses in different shades of pink. They stood on a mirror surrounded by crystals with gorgeous glass tea lights hanging from them. I made little wooden favour boxes with a homemade candle inside. There was a love heart on top and a wooden name tag thanking each of our guests for joining us. I designed my dress myself. It had a vintage look with heavy lace, long sleeves and a stunning train. I teamed it with a matching veil and pretty Jenny Packham shoes. 50
