They all paired the outfit with pink ties from Reiss, to complement the colour of the bridesmaids dresses. Their pageboy, the six-year-old youngster Elizabeth is nanny to, wore a smaller version of the usher’s outfits with colourmatching tie. The bridesmaids looked beautiful in pink full-length dresses and accessorised with their own pearl earrings. TIME TO CELEBRATE Elizabeth and Ben decided against wedding favours instead hiring an artist who cut silhouettes of their guests for them to take home. “Many had never heard of a silhouette artist before and were thrilled with their cuttings,” Elizabeth says. “One of our guests said: ‘It’s like magic!’” There was also musical entertainment in the shape of a pianist who played during the welcome drinks and wedding breakfast. Plus, guests were able to enjoy a game or two of croquet thanks to the set the couple bought and laid out on the lawn at Holbrook. THE GETAWAY The newlyweds spent two nights at Calcot & Spa, where they got engaged, following the big day and set off for Puglia, Italy a few weeks later. “We both love Italy and Puglia was a part we’d heard so may good things about that neither of us had been to before. Staying in Trullo was quite an experience, one we’ll always remember, it was incredibly cute and secluded. We visited beautiful small towns and ate very well the whole week!” Elizabeth remembers. “We hired a Land Rover Defender for the ushers and bridesmaids, while we were driven away in a Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III.” – Elizabeth 25 REAL WEDDINGS
