Do take a photo of your wedding dress with you when you head to the florist for your consultation. Particularly when thinking about your bouquet it will help them to get an idea of what they can do to complement it. For example, if it has lots of intricate detail and a sleek silhouette, you’ll want to avoid a bouquet that’s going to obscure the incredible design and overwhelm you. Your florist may also suggest flower varieties that come in the best hues to suit the colour of your gown, whether it be white, ivory, blush or something entirely different. This will all help to elicit gasps from your congregation and spouse-to-be as you walk down the aisle, plus you’ll look even more breathtaking in photos if your bouquet is right!
