Your Bristol & Somerset Wedding - October/November 2020 (Issue 79)

We doubled up our place settings and favours by having personalised wooden maple leaf magnets with everyone’s names on. I also made popcorn and toffee cones for our guests to enjoy after the ceremony instead of canapés. My bridesmaids looked wonderful in burgundy one-shoulder dresses with gold leaf crowns, while the men’s brown suits complemented the day perfectly. Aaron stood out in a tweed look to tie in with the rustic vibe. I’ve always loved how women look in films about ancient times, like Troy or Gladiator , so I chose a gown and accessories that would recreate this style. REAL WEDDINGS 31 
