Your Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wedding - February/March 2023 (Issue 99)

LOOKING THE PART Emma wore a dress called Aimee. “I purchased it from Ellie Sanderson in Beaconsfield who were fantastic,” she tells us. “I thought I would want to wear a long-sleeved style but my family encouraged me to try on the dress that was displayed in the window. As soon as I put it on I knew it was the one I wanted. I liked the fact that I could remove the skirt to have a simple white dress to party in during the evening.” Emma accessorised her dress with a veil, a pair of earrings and a necklace which was a gift from her mother-in-law and a bracelet which was a gift from her aunties and uncles. “My auntie on my dad’s side presented me a stunning Swarvoski bracelet just like the one that my grandma had bought for her,” she tells us. Will wore a navy morning suit teamed with a red Hermes tie. “His groomsmen wore the same as him and they all looked fantastic!” Emma says. The couple’s four bridesmaids wore two different dress styles in olive green. TIME TO CELEBRATE Emma and Will hired a DJ for their evening reception. “Everyone had a great time,” Emma tells us. “One of the highlights of the day was my dad’s speech which was so good – he still replays it on his iPhone to remind my mum how good it was!” “Many of our guests commented that ours was the best food they had ever eaten at a wedding.” – Emma andWill 31 REAL WEDDINGS
