Your Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wedding - April/May (Issue 94)

As our centrepieces, we were able to reuse the eucalyptus which lined the aisle during our ceremony. We placed these arrangements on the long tables and added small jars and vases with white flowers which looked so pretty. We both managed to see the tables set up before our guests saw them which was one of a handful of moments during the day that it was just the two of us. It was great to see everything come together exactly as we had imagined. There was such a buzz after our ceremony before we sat down to eat because everybody was chatting and it was gre at to have all of our loved ones in the same place. For Mike, seeing me walk down the aisle was the most memorable part of the day! We seated our guests at two long tables and mixed everyone up. We were lucky to have a friend, Kerrie who gave a reading which she had written especially for us by combining words and lyrics from songs of bands we have seen together. Another friend, Naomi played some of our favourite songs on the keyboard during the ceremony. 40
