Editor Claire chats to Steve Burkett, founder of Video4aDay, an award-winning cinematic wedding videography service What style of wedding videography do you offer? With 15 years of experience in the business, I film between 80 and 90 weddings annually, capturing the events of each celebration with a beautiful, cinematic-looking finished product that includes a documentary-style edit and a shorter highlights video. I employ a multi-camera approach to my work, utilising four to six different cameras on the day to capture key moments, such as the ceremony and speeches, from various angles. What is your approach to wedding videography? I offer couples value for money with their wedding video service, with a flexible approach to both packages and prices. Additional bonus services, such as content creation, wedding photography and longer days (with the option to begin at 8 am and finish at midnight) can be combined, and my Marryoke package is a hit! This is where I ask the happy couple and their loved ones to mime, dance and act to a favourite song, with lip-syncing added in post-production to create a final musical video. Alternatively, my GuestCam service is a digital way for guests to contribute their own photographs, videos and audio messages to a shared online album. What do you love most about your job? I adore the art of filming and cinematography. At weddings, I get the opportunity to meet many amazing people and film in beautiful and stunning locations. Each wedding presents unique challenges that help to keep my work current, and I love being able to capture each couple’s special day and hearing the love story that led them to their wedding. Where are you based, and which regions do you cover? I am based in the South of the UK, but am very happy to travel anywhere nationwide (including Scotland and Ireland). video4aday.co.uk instagram.com/video4aday Memories made forever Scan to view video
