I will never forget the first wedding I performed at in my hometown in Pembrokeshire when I was just sixteen years old. I played during the ceremony, drinks reception, and wedding breakfast, and I remember feeling so privileged to have been chosen for such a significant occasion. I can’t believe it was already nine years ago! What type of wedding packages do you offer? I have six wedding packages available, covering everything from performing during the ceremony to entertaining guests at the drinks reception and during the wedding breakfast. My wedding package prices cover travel within seventy miles of Slough, Berkshire. If a celebration is further afield, couples can contact me, and we can discuss the possibilities. What is your approach to wedding entertainment? Although I provide six distinct wedding packages, each event is customised to meet the unique preferences of every couple, beginning with a thirty-minute consultation to discuss their vision. For the ceremony, three songs will be selected for key moments, and I am able to arrange the happy couple’s favourite piece to be performed on their special day. I ensure that musical transitions are carefully timed, especially at significant moments such as the bride’s entrance, and I often find myself getting goosebumps as I play! For background music, couples can share their genre preferences, as well as any tracks to avoid, and I will create a tailored setlist, adding in any specific song requests they may have. What do you love most about your job? I have adored music from a very young age, and I feel so lucky to be doing what I love as my full-time job. I witness the celebration up close, which always feels like such a privilege.
