“My two older brothers were my groomsmen and they were both in versions of our family tartan. One was wearing a kilt and one was in troos.” - Jono “The main accessory for me was my engagement ring but my parents had a beautiful matching necklace made for me which was special.” - Lauren “The speeches at dinner were fantastic. I had almost lost one of my shoes walking down the aisle so after dinner, we played a game called the shoe game which I copied from my brother’s wedding and that got everyone laughing!” - Lauren “My dad started his speech in Welsh and it was amusing to watch our guests’ faces as they realised they had no idea what he was saying! He then translated it to English.” - Lauren “My dress was by Stella York, I wanted to feel special so I went for a ballgown and teamed it with a long veil. I felt like the dress suited the venue and the size of our wedding. I also wanted a party dress because I love to dance so I got a sparkly midi dress which I changed into during the dancing.” - Lauren “Food was at the top of our priority list - we wanted our guests to be well fed and we had plenty of dietary requirements to please. The catering by the team at the venue was delicious! We had a tasting session beforehand to choose the menu and the kitchen team allowed changes to meet the dietary requirements. We had a fish, meat and a vegan option for each course.
