We really wanted a castle vibe for our big day. The second we drove up the huge driveway we both fell in love and then after touring it we could just see our day there. We loved everything about Layer Marney and the team were great, making us feel at ease from first visit. We didn’t look anywhere else. I wore a dress inspired by Sleeping Beauty from the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Collection by Allure Bridals. I wanted to feel like a princess and it certainly made me feel that way. I was brought to the venue by Graham in the vintage Rolls Royce, which is provided by Layer Marney as part of the package. It was beautiful! I work in a bridal boutique, so I see a lot of brides and a lot of dresses and it was important to me to wear a style I hadn’t really seen much. I had the sleeves changed slightly to be more fitted but other than that it was love at first sight and I knew it was my dress the second I put it on! Steve wore a brown tweed suit that had an orange pin stripe, which worked perfectly with our autumnal colours. He wore a burnt orange tie to bring the colour out and then wore black Converse. We wanted to feel like us on the day! 24
