Let the music play Kassandra and Rob Lambell tied the knot at Mulberry House surrounded by family and friends Images courtesy of Beth Dowdell Photography Kassie describes the proposal as, “out of this world!” Kassie elaborates, “When I first met Rob, he said he doesn’t do things by halves. He wasn’t kidding. He took me to our favourite special place a hotel called Ashdown Park in West Sussex, a place we visited when we first got together and where we fell in love.” Having checked in, the pair went for a drink in the hotel bar. The surprises started there, as Kassie’s best friends crept up behind her, revealing they were there for a belated birthday treat! Kassie continues, “We had a few drinks together then went to get changed. I thought the boys had all gone to the bar but unbeknown to me, they were helping Rob smuggle a generator, a snow machine, speakers a disco ball and lots of fireworks through the hotel onto the grounds to the lake where our special place is - all whilst I was getting ready! “I was told to go down to the grounds with the girls. As I was getting closer to the lake I could hear Ed Sheeran’s song Perfect playing. Whilst there was fake snow, disco lights and music, Rob got down on one knee and proposed. My friends were screaming and laughing and they had my other bestie on Facetime watching.” Of course, Kassie said, yes! On 30th December 2023, Kassie walked down the aisle to Ed Sheeran’s Perfect. On this winter’s day, the pair said their vows at the stunning venue, Mulberry House. Here, Kassie tells us more about their day... REAL WEDDINGS 47
