High House Weddings gave us a good variation of aesthetics: the beautiful English flowers, the barn, the outside gazebo the heartshaped lake and the neighbouring vineyards. We had an incredible string quartet before, during and after the ceremony. They were brilliant and really added to the romantic and happy mood of the day. I knew I wanted a floaty boho style dress in keeping with the venue theme and my own personal style. I’m a country/beach girl at heart so this style of dress is what I feel most comfortable in. I was extremely nervous which I hadn’t thought I would be... It was nerve wracking hoping that everything we’d planned for the day took off as we’d visualised it. I just wanted my bridesmaids to wear what they felt most comfortable in. We went for smoky green and a smoky purple floaty silk dresses which went perfectly. The groomsmen wore a mix of suits and colours and Shoshi and the two fathers wore grey suits. 44
