U nbelievably, I have been at An Essex Wedding HQ for all 100 issues – gasps – so it seems only fitting that I write this issue’s letter from the editor! We have been the leaders in bringing local wedding content to all of our lovely readers past and present for 18 years, becoming a much needed go-to wedding bible for couples tying the knot in our gorgeous county of Essex. I can’t deny, I have seen it all, and Essex couples really have pushed the boundaries in wedding themes and styling over the last 18 years. As you can see looking at all of our previous cover shots, the magazine has evolved and will continue to do so ensuring we remain by the side of nearlyweds across the county for many more years to come! I had my own Essex wedding back in 2018 at The Old Parish Rooms, Rayleigh (pictured below); which is also featured in a real wedding this issue over on page 35. Our amazing new account manager, Kirsty O’Connor – who’s celebrating her first issue working on An Essex Wedding – also tied the knot in July 2021 at Essex’s Creeksea Place (pictured right); you can read all about her big day over on page 57.
