Lark & Berry reveal bridal jewellery trend predictions for 2023

Emily Newman, head designer at fine jewellers Lark & Berry has unveiled her bridal jewellery trend predictions for 2023. They include vintage and unusual cuts. She tells us, "I believe that there will be an upturn in the trend for vintage cuts as well as unique shapes of stones. With many lab-grown companies showcasing their technology and creating rings that are made only with diamonds (although that's not feasible for most) we think that customers will be asking for bespoke cuts of stones within not only engagement rings, but all special and bespoke pieces of jewellery."

ROX Diamonds & Thrills reveals how much you should spend on an engagement ring

According to sales data from British luxury jeweller ROX Diamonds & Thrills, the average cost of an engagement ring is about £3,000. Kyron tells us, "On average, our customers spend an average of £3,000 on an engagement ring. When it comes to choosing a ring, there are so many different options, from the design and metal of the band to the cut, colour, clarity, and carat of the diamond."

Bridal designer Sanyukta walks the red carpet at Fashion Awards 2022

Sustainable bridal designer Sanyukta Shrestha dazzled on the red carpet wearing her vegan black couture dress at the Royal Albert Hall for this year's Fashion Awards where celebrities from around the world attended on Monday. The British Fashion Awards, one of the most anticipated events of the global fashion calendar, celebrates fashion at the intersection of culture and is a global entertainment platform for brands, creatives, designers, artists and tastemakers who come together to celebrate the industry. This year, the event brought supermodels, fashion designers and celebrity muses together to recognise excellence in the fashion industry. We chat to Soozie Jenkinson, head of lingerie design at M&S

With Google searches for winter wedding guest outfits up by 140%, M&S research has revealed that 61% of women have not purchased a dress they love because they don't already own a suitable bra. We chat to Soozie Jenkinson, head of lingerie design at M&S to ask which bra type you should wear with your wedding outfit. With research revealing that the open-backed dress is the most challenging to find a perfect bra solution for, Soozie says: "If you're looking for the perfect solution to conceal your bra in an open-back dress, we recommend opting for a multiway bra. We chat to Zoe Price-Smith at Boux Avenue about bridal lingerie

We caught up with Zoe Price-Smith, chief design and product officer at lingerie and sleepwear experts Boux Avenue to chat about bridal lingerie and their new sustainable nightwear collection and what's in store for the festive season. She tells us, "Here at Boux Avenue, we are on a journey in becoming a more sustainable brand, and we are starting with our new ethically sourced nightwear collection. Susannah King London launches rings made with upcycled gemstones

London-based jeweller Susannah King has created a selection of colourful rings made using upcycled gemstones that she already had in her collection. They have gone viral on TikTok with videos reaching upwards of eight million views. More than £20,000 worth of rings were sold in under a minute as a result, with the affordable designs ranging from £300 to £1,000 per ring. Launched live on her social channels, the 28 rings received more than 2,000 messages and were all purchased in less than 60 seconds, meaning the jeweller has had to plan another larger collection due to be released this winter. They make the ideal wedding or engagement ring for couples wanting something a bit different.

The second Whistles collaboration with Hai launches today

The Whistles collaboration with Hai launched in May 2022, featuring model and artist Kesewa Aboah starring in the campaign. The next release launches today, exclusively at Whistles. Founded in 2018 by Tessa Vermeulen, the brand began with silk. Timeless and ethereal, Hai is known for its cult bags and has since expanded its offering with ready-to-wear and accessories.
