Here at The Rufus Centre, we provide a blank canvas for you to paint your perfect day.

Our dedicated team will work with you to ensure your Wedding Day is a memorable one and as relaxed and stress free as possible. In this respect we are happy to offer as much or as little assistance as you require.

Using only local highly recommended and trusted partners we can provide an extensive range of services including full in-house catering, decoration, entertainment and bar facilities or, if you prefer, we are happy to accommodate service providers of your choice in those all-important areas. It's your wedding, you tell us what you want.

The venue for your special day will be our superb Lockyer Suite. You will have exclusive use of this suite which consists of a large hall with spacious adjoining reception room, private bar, exclusive toilets and fully equipped kitchen. The maximum capacity of the Lockyer Suite for a sit down meal is 200 people.

Sliding oak doors join the main hall and reception room. These can be left open for larger parties, closed for segregated dining or to create a quiet area.

Here at The Rufus Centre we believe every Wedding is unique, which is why we offer a bespoke service allowing you the flexibility of having and paying for just what you need by building your own Wedding Package. Additionally we are happy to put together packages to suit individual requirements and budgets.

Catering

We provide a full in-house catering service with a range of wedding breakfast, cold buffet, hot buffet or finger buffet menu options.

Unlike many other venues we are also happy to accommodate and work with your own caterers, who are able to hire our kitchen and/or crockery and cutlery.

If required a selection of wines are available to complement your wedding breakfast. A range of drinks are also available from our comfortable bar area which is of complimentary use within the room hire charge and comes stocked, manned and includes glassware hire. Alternatively you would be more than welcome to bring in your own mobile bar. You would simply pay corkage on wine, beer and spirits.

Venues

The Rufus Centre is conveniently located in central Bedfordshire with ample, complimentary car parking for all visitors and guests. It is also minutes from the mainline railway station with fast, direct connections to Bedford, London and Brighton.

Accessed from our hard standing free car park, our large enclosed lawn/field is the perfect location for a glorious summer wedding marquee.

The Rufus Centre is surrounded by beautiful, picturesque Bedfordshire countryside. Our well tended, spacious grounds and Wedding Garden also afford numerous opportunities for fantastic photographs or a great setting for your drinks reception; a lasting memory of your wonderful day.
